JEFF LOVE
“A PRODUCTIVE COACH, MENTOR, AND PROFESSIONAL WHO IS KNOWLEDGEABLE, EXPERIENCED, POISED, AND PASSIONATE.”

"I am an educator. I come from a family of educators, and I learned at a very young age that the measure of a good teacher is one’s ability to process and relay necessary information with a heightened sense of urgency to allow the student to achieve an objective."
~Jeff Love

A1R Sports

In December of 2025, after two decades in college football as a Coach and an Executive, Coach Love made the decision to work with the players, for the players, as a representative.
Focusing on evaluations, positioning, & navigating NIL/portal decisions in the wild world that is college football, Love is one of the few player reps that knows the game, the rosters, the buildings, and the budgets from the inside out.
Coach Love now spends his days utilizing his years of experiences to help good people connect across the country.

UCF - 2025
On December 11th, 2024 (his 4th day on the job) newly appointed UCF Head Coach Scott Frost made his first personnel hire, calling Jeff Love to oversee, evaluate, and manage the Knights roster as the Executive Director of Player Personnel. With the help of Directors Ryan Beer, Dan Pirtle, Kaelen Skipper, and Jeris McIntyre, Love and his team acquired 67 new players for the black and gold between December and July of 2025 prior to Coach Frost's first fall back in Orlando. Highlighted by a 34-9 beating of Super Bowl Champion Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels, the 2025 Knights improved their record from the previous year and set the cultural foundation for 2026 and beyond.

FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY
2023-2024
In December of 2022, Jeff Love was called to drive down to Boca Raton to be the Offensive Analyst at Florida Atlantic. Upon arrival, and after three meetings with top level staff members, Love was asked to run the roster as the Director of Player Personnel. With his long running connections in his home state of Florida, as well having been a head high school coach in Florida, Love and his personnel/recruiting staff were charged with identifying and recruiting the top talent to Boca Raton in order to build a championship roster.
Tom Herman, arguably the hottest name in all of college football in the 2022-2023 coaching cycle, had won 71% of his games as a head coach, including going undefeated in 5 bowl games, 22-4 at Houston, and 32-18 at Texas. Prior to being a head coach in 2014, he won the Broyles award as the nation's top assistant coach when he coordinated the Ohio State offense to a National Championship.
In the Summer of 2024, Love was promoted to Executive Director of Player Personnel / General Manager. With the new landscape of college football, Love's knowledge of the market combined with his ability to direct the recruiting staff and coaching staff allowed him and his team to navigate the two transfer portal windows, make high school roster moves, and assess decisions on current player status.
After the 2024 season, FAU had 13 players with both meaningful snaps and eligibility remaining enter the transfer portal. When it was all said and done, those 13 players secured deals for a combined $3.126 Million for their 2025 season...while FAU only paid those 13 players a combined $328,000 for the 2024 season. In market terms, Love and his team were able to acquire those 13 players at an 850% discount for the 2024 Owls.

After having been a player or an assistant for all three of Apopka's state titles, James Delgado has now built one of the top cultures in all of Florida. 2021 WAS Delgado's 5th fall at Riverdale.
As the offensive coordinator, he transitioned the team from a single wing to the hybrid spread and mentored two first-year quarterbacks to direct the offense to a combined 2,634 yards in nine games.
Love handled all aspects of college recruiting and built the program’s website. He worked with 2022 signees: TE Tucker Devaney (Erskine), WR Romeo McKnight (Cumberlands), Athlete Billy Donahue (Cumberlands), LB Bryan Norgaisse (Cumberlands), and LB Kallan Topliff (Iowa Wesleyan). PROFESSIONAL CONNECTIONS / FRIENDSHIPS

WAYNE SIMIEN
Wayne Simien, an NBA Champion, 2-time NCAA All-American, and consensus BigXII player of the year, is a close friend of Coach Love's. The two worked together at Kansas for three years and both share a passion for empowering others to see potential above their own belief. Love and Simien still connect regularly to discuss how best to serve our industry, from a religious and mentoring standpoint.

DAVID GRAFF + MATT MUELLER, HUDL
David Graff (left) and Matt Mueller (right) met Coach Love at a convention back in the Spring of 2007. After developing a like-minded friendship, the three spent a few days picking many brains before going on their way. Turns out, Graff and Mueller were in the midst of creating HUDL.
Now, Graff, the CEO at HUDL, and Mueller, the COO at HUDL, essentially run the sports tech world as it relates to breaking down and distributing video. Their clients range from teams in college, to the NBA, to the English Premier League, to the Australian Rugby League and beyond.

KYLE LANE, CAROLINA PANTHERS
In the summer of 2016, when Love was hired back to the University of Kansas as the Director of Football Technology, he quickly conducted interviews to fill his vacant video assistant position. During the process, Love came across Kyle Lane. Lane was working at Columbia University in New York where, at the time, the bus ticket to his office cost more than what Lane made in a day. After interviewing over 20 candidates, Love felt compelled to hire Kyle Lane based on his passion for people, his love for football, and, most importantly, his drive to be the best.
Lane moved to Lawrence, KS in August of 2016, and then after working with Coach Love for less than four short months, Kyle Lane was named the Video Director at Temple University for Coach Geoff Collins in December of 2016. Lane remained at Temple for two seasons, until the spring of 2019, when he was hired as the Director of Football Technology at Mississippi State University. After two years at State, prior to the 2021 fall, Kyle Lane was named the Football Video Coordinator at the University of Georgia. 10 months later the Bulldogs won the National Title! After two national titles in three seasons, Kyle Lane moved to the NFL, where he is currently the Assistant Video Director with the Carolina Panthers.
Kyle Lane, Coach Love, and their families keep in close touch.

GIFFORD LINDHEIM, EL CAMINO COLLEGE
Coach Gifford Lindheim and Coach Love lived and worked together in Reno for the 2007 season. Love then moved onto Kansas and Lindheim moved back to Los Angeles. The two remained close, as Lindheim would eventually be a groomsman in Love's wedding.
Prior to the 2011 season, Coach Lindheim took over as the Head Football Coach for the program at Santa Monica College (a Junior College in Los Angeles). The Zen Master, as he's known, inherited a team that had won just 6 conference games in 3 years. After a 5-5 first year and a 9-2 second year, the eternal optimist Lindheim would go on to win 38 CONFERENCE GAMES IN A ROW at Santa Monica. He was then hired at El Camino College, where he currently serves as the Head Football Coach for the Warriors, in one of the toughest conferences of Junior College football in America.

MIKE ROLIH, GOROUT
In the Spring of 2017, Love was approached about a new company called GoRout and their CEO was a former baseball player and sports fanatic named Mike Rolih (pictured middle). Rolih developed the GoRout system; a wearable, data driven, electronic device that synced to a cloud and allowed for a digitized scout card to be on a player's body instead of in a binder for practice effciency. Love and the Jayhawks became the first members of the BigXII to purchase the product, and there was an immediate difference in the way the team practiced and ultimately how they performed.
When Love left Kansas in December of 2018, Mike Rolih approached Coach Love about a position with GoRout and eventually Rolih hired him. For two short months, prior to returning to coaching, Love helped Rolih and GoRout Director of Sales Joe Furco (pictured left) establish connections throughout the NCAA, the NFL, and several major high schools in Texas, Florida, and California.
Mike Rolih's invention is nothing short of genius, and GoRout's ability to eliminate the use of scout cards has completely changed the way coaches prepare for and execute practice plans.
